Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Hanoi City Tour

Upon arrival to Hanoi International Airport (for Vietnamese people it called Noi Bai International Airport because it located in Noi Bai commune far from Hanoi centre around 35km), you will be warmly welcomed by tour experts of Rosanta Travel Company: an English speaking guide of us who holds a signboard with your name on it when you reach to gate-out at the airport lobby, you will meet him, and a driver of us.

Then head to the old quarter of Hanoi City which is also known as the 36 streets and guilds, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally each of the street’s names was related to the products being sold there. After having lunch, you will enjoy a drive out to the outskirt of Hanoi to visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum which is very widely and acknowledged as the best museum in Vietnam country and it has a wide display area and variety of exhibits, dedicated to 53 ethnic minority peoples of Vietnam country. Many exhibits display inside of the building, and outside there are also many tribal traditional houses reconstructed on the ground.

Then, you will go back to the centre of Hanoi to visiting Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a walking tour through the old quarter to explore Hanoi old quarter on foot with numerous shops and photo opportunities.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay

8:00AM the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then depart for Halong Bay. It will take about 3.5 hours to drive to there. The trip to Halong Bay from Hanoi is rather long but extremely interesting. You will go through lots of towns, villages and countryside and you get a great views and insight to the country and day to day life of Vietnamese people on both sides of the road (165km).

12:30AM reach Halong harbor, you will get on the cruise welcome drink is served while enjoy the amazing scenery of Halong Bay and the cruise’s manager who will give you a short briefing and instruction about safety and notes before you start to check into your cabin,… you will then explore center area of the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang city - Hoi An Old Quarter

6:30AM early morning, enjoy landscape of Halong Bay and join on the Tai-Chi session on the sundeck of the cruise. The Tai-chi exercises combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and smooth movements. These exercises are so good for human health. 7:00AM the breakfast will be served at the restaurant with delicious foods and pastries, Coffee, tea...

After having breakfast, sailing to an impressive cave of Halong Bay, a long cave and large which named Sung Sot cave (Surprising cave) with amazing stalactites and stalagmites, everything are created by naturally. The Sung Sot cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. This cave requires some moderate climbing. On exiting from the cave at the top, you'll not regret climbing as you are treated to a picture postcard view of Halong Bay.

Come back the cruise for relaxing and admire the stunning Halong Bay views once again when the sailing itinerary gets back to the harbor. The lunch will be served at restaurant on the cruise during cruising towards the harbor and you will then get back to Hanoi. At 16:00PM, around further 30km as reach Hanoi. Our driver and guide will meet you on the way so that pick you up and takes you to Hanoi Airport (at 16:30PM) for your flight to Da Nang.

Day 4: Biking Cam Thanh, Tra Que villages, Traditional Basket Boat trip and Hoi An Old Quarter Walking Tour

 “Hoi An is an old  downtown located on riverside of the Thu Bon River  in Quang Nam Province Vietnam approx 130km from Hue. Hoi An is surrounded by peaceful villages that has crafts such as carpentry, ceramic, bronze making,... Hoi An used to be known on the international market with many different names such as Faifo, Hoai Pho, Lam Ap, and Hoi An.

From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Dutch, Portuguese, French, Japanese and Arab... traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk.\; ceramic, bronze... Nowadays, Hoian is a famous relaxing resort for tourists for its architecture. Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Cham Towers have been recognized as the World Cultural Heritages by UNESCO since 12/1999”.

In the morning, after the tour guide meets you at your hotel, a short bicycle competence test will be given. For those who uncomfortable with a push-bike, then other methods of transport can be arranged. The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village.

Biking along country lanes at a peaceful pace viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields using centuries of farming practices. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges, fields of water buffalo....

9:00AM We stop at the beautiful water palm area and visit a local fisherman and his family to chat to them about their lives, at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying 1.5 hours ride on Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the famous Water Coconut Palm forest where the Viet Cong used to hide during the Vietnam war. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time to catch fishes and “purple crabs” in the Canal.

10:30 Continue to drive to Tra Que organic-vegetable village where a large variety of vegetable are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown the environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries and is still being used extensively today. Visit a local family and after a short, informative and fun cooking lesson, you will enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, you will have a walking tour in Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. You’ll walk through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting highlights of Hoian Old Quarter. Coming there, you can see a series of old-architecture lanes and houses with nearly 100% left from their initial buildings with moss-grown walls, deeply plain roofs, old furniture in their original past arrangement etc. Most premium oriental and western style of architecture meet together here, making a unique ancient Hoi An, absorbing all tourists who are eager for classic beauty! Even you are not classic styled, you still want to see by yourself how a lively ancient world can survive in this new modern and high-tech era! Sites include Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge...

Day 5: Hoi An - Da Nang Marble Mountain – fly to Ho Chi Minh City @14.30 – 15.55 VN127 and Ho Chi Minh City Jeep Car tour by night.

After breakfast, check out your room. 08.00AM the guide and driver pick you up at your hotel to depart for Marble Mountain, in Vietnamese they are called “Nui Ngu Hanh Son” which translates to “Mountains of the Five Elements”. The small sandstone and marble mountains are named – Nui Thuy Son (water), Nui Tho Son (earth), Nui Kim Son (metal), Nui Hoa Son (fire) and Nui Moc Son (wood). It made of limestone and marble, they look like 5 fingers. There are several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs and 2 spectacular viewing points. They are also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes which are much visited places of worship for the local population. The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.

After that we transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh meet driver and guide for pick up hotel for check in and free time relax.

In the evening, after dinner, at 19:45 our guide and driver will pick up you at your hotel lobby for an exciting Jeep tour to visiting Ho Chi Minh City by night.

20:00 We’ll start Saigon by night tour where we will admire the most magnificent French colonial monuments of the city such as Opera House, City Hall, Notre Dame, Post Office and Walking street…

20:30 We’ll take you to explore the local night market where we can stop for shopping if you would like. After that you will visit the streets known for their vibrant night life, a very busy and exciting area of the city.

21:00 We’ll head for the suburbs of the city to chill out with some fresh air and see the city from a different perspective.

21:15 End up at a Rooftop bar to enjoy panorama view of Saigon with a free drink

22:00 : Guide will take you back to hotel by Jeep car.

Day 6: Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh city tour -  Ho Chi Minh Street Food Tour

After breakfast at hotel, the tour guide and driver will pick you up to travel outside of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Visiting Cu Chi tunnels you will better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime....

You will then spend the next hours exploring the maze of tunnels where the Vietnamese could escape bombings, hide from enemy, and mount surprise attacks in the Vietnam war. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers…

“Cu Chi Tunnels is a defense system in the ground in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City approx 70 km to the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi tunnels has been used by the Vietnamese during the war between Vietnam and American in Southern Vietnam. The tunnels were the key part of guerilla warfare during the Vietnam war. Stretching hundreds of miles under the bushes, the tunnels were dug by local people using shovels. Cu Chi Tunnels were built on the land known as the "land of steel", located at the end of the Ho Chi Minh trail. During Tet 1968 Campaign (in 1968), National Liberation Front of South Vietnam have used these tunnels system to attack into Saigon.

The network included innumerable traps, traps-doors... Specially constructed living areas: the medical stations; field hospitals; storage, weapons factories, working rooms, command centers, kitchens, and many rooms for stay... inside the tunnels system underground.

Nowadays the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American war must have been like. This secret underground life will give you an unique experience as exploring one of the greatest invention that had ever been created by human strength”.

Upon arrival in Cu Chi, start your tour of the tunnels by watching a movie about the Vietnam War. Then, explore the Cu Chi Tunnels site, including the tiny entrance gates, traps, underground hospitals, worships, kitchens and bunkers. Crawl through a section of the tunnels to experience first hand what life was like under the ground for the Viet Cong… and you will also be given the chance to fire with an M-16, AK-47 or a carbine (own expense)… After that, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City (former Sai Gon) for Having lunch.

in the afternoon, you will enjoy a Ho Chi Minh City Tour a half day and Street Food Tour. The tour guide and driver will take you to visiting some of the best highlight places of Ho Chi Minh City such as: the Saigon Notre-Dame basilica, the same as a famous cathedral located in Paris square that was built between 1877 and 1883. This is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.

Nearby is the Old Post Office that is another example of French colonial architecture and is also the country’s largest post office and it is one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Admire the neoclassical-style of the post office interior as your guide points out the painted maps of former Saigon, once the capital of South Vietnam.

Continuing visiting the century-old Reunification Palace, this is one of the most important buildings in this city. Here on 30th April 1975 the ‘American - Vietnam War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of this building, at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of South Vietnam. There you will be witnessed the growth of Ho Chi Minh City during peacetime and throughout the Vietnam War until its end on 30th April 1975 at 11:30AM.

Continuing to visiting the War Remnants Museum which relates to war phase of American & Vietnam, see displays of old military equipment and other related objects as well as larger exhibits including an F5A fighter and a UH1-Huey helicopter. Formerly known as the Museum of War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of the war; then visiting the Museum of History in Ho Chi Minh City to learn more about the history of the Vietnamese people.

After that, you will enjoy a visit to Ben Thanh Market which is one of largest market in Saigon, there is a wide selection of goods at Ben Thanh Market - a trading centre of the city where sellers display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, your guide can help you barter for goods. Then you will enjoy 2 hours Street Food Tour to try the special dishes in Southern Vietnam... Enjoy a free evening to discover the “pearl of Indochina by your own senses.

Day 7: Mekong River Delta full Day Trip

Highlights: The Mekong Delta is a unique region where life on the water has remained unchanged for centuries. Life on the delta revolves around the Mekong River, with its green expanses of paddy fields, thick orchards, and canals. Mekong River Delta is often referred to as a major granary of Viet Nam where three rice harvests are produced per year. The fertile Mekong River Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The Delta area in the south of Viet Nam marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Boating along a vast network of canals and channels is the traditional way of local people here. My Tho/Ben Tre is known as a launching pad for boat tours.

After the breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide and driver will pick you up for a visiting to the Mekong River Delta to exploring lush fluvial landscape in the Mekong River Delta. You will visit Ben Tre coconut area in Ben Tre province which is a wildest area in the Mekong River Delta currently.

Ben Tre is situated in the Mekong River Delta approx 85KM to Southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. It shares its border with Tien Giang in the north, Vinh Long in the west and south - west, and Tra Vinh in the south. The four main rivers are Tien Giang, Ba Lai, Ham Luong, and Co Chien. Ben Tre has complex network of rivers and canals, so Ben Tre is the granary and fruits depot of Mekong Delta. There are agriculture productions such as rice, corn, pineapple, custard-apple, star apple, durian, mango, longan, and many more. Industrial trees are tobacco, sugar-cane, and cotton. Especially, Ben Tre is homeland of coconut. It is well known with special fresh coconuts candy in Vietnam.

Upon your arrival at Hung Vuong harbor in Ben Tre City you will get on the boat and you will cruise along the Ham Luong River (a branch of the Mekong) (30 - 40 minutes) through a lot of villages in countryside and you will have a great views and insight about day to day life of local people; fruit orchards with hundreds of hectares coconut, mango, pineapple, custard-apple, star-apple, durian, longan, corn… of Mekong Delta on both sides of the river banks.

Then the boat will stop at a traditional handicraft village with coconut candy located riverside, you will visit processing workshops of coconut, coconut candy, other produce from coconut, rice… enjoy local special fruits of Mekong Delta like coconut, mango, pineapple, custard-apple, star-apple, durian, longan, corn…

Get back the boat continuing cruising along river (30 minutes) to other traditional handicraft villages with workshops making sedge mat, making brick-clay, all of them are still painstakingly made traditional style by hands, and going local market see one sale agriculture productions as custard-apple, star-apple, durian, longan, coconut, mango, pineapple… you can have chat with local people; trying local special fruits of Mekong River Delta.

Then, you can choose biking a short way (4KM) or get on the Tuk Tuk (cart-motor) to go to a local restaurant, the lunch will be served with local special foods of Mekong River Delta such as river-fish; river-shrimp, vegetable, fruits…

After lunch you will visit a typical forest region of Mekong River Delta by rowing-boat on narrow creeks/canals, it'll be a great experience to you. Then getting back the boat and the boat will take you back to Hung Vung harbor and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
