Day 1: The airport - Hanoi City Tour & Cycling - Lao Cai station, Day 2: Lao Cai station – Sapa – Cat Cat, Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van, Day 4: Dzang Ta Chai - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi, Day 5: Departure

Day 1: The airport - Hanoi City Tour & Cycling - Lao Cai station (L,D)

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the Noi Bai airport to the centre of Hanoi. Then, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, continue going to the Hoan Kiem Lake – Ngoc Son Temple – symbol of our capital, Temple of literature (Quoc Tu Giam) – the one which be considered the first university of Confucianism in Vietnam. Have lunch in the restaurant located in the Old Quarter.

After that, start the short cycling tour by terrain bicycles with high equipped to take a closer look into Hanoi’s legendary Long Bien Bridge, and then go down to the Red River middle island, following the path along the island (6 kilometers long) of the Red River, pedal through some beautiful banana forests, and kumquat gardens, papaya gardens, vegetable gardens…You will have great opportunity to capture so many priceless moments of the people’s daily life (most of them are the immigrants). Then, you will come across a “beach for nude bath” only for men – located in the foot of Long Bien Bridge – the strange club of Hanoians.

Have dinner in a Buffet Restaurant, take a break then you will be transferred to train station to catch a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 2: Lao Cai station – Sapa – Cat Cat (B,L,D)

Arrive at the Lao Cai Station around 6:00 am. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast, check-in to the hotel in the central of Sapa and have a break, then start the half-day for a walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H'mong tribe. Experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and many natural waterfalls in Cat Cat.

After the walk, you will be back to your hotel at around noon and be on time for lunch in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own. Dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 pm upon your request.

Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B,L,D)

After having breakfast, do the check-out then leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. You will only need to bring a change of clothing, trekking gear and toiletries for your stay at the village house of local people – also known as “homstay”.

At around 9, begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa valley towards the Black H'mong’s village. The Muong Hoa valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia. After having lunch, trek along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to go into the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life. Have dinner in the homestay with some local special and amazed dishes.

Day 4: Ta Van - Dzang Ta Chai - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B,L,D)

After having breakfast, start trekking to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. Experience the difference between different tribes’s way of life (customs, culture). Have lunch in the village before continue your trek through the amazing sceneries of terraced rice paddy fields with some interesting fountains, wild trees and exotic flowers.

At around 2:00pm you will be picked up from the main road to take a ride back to the hotel. Along the way you may stop to take some photos of the fabulous valley in Sapa. When arrive in Sapa, you will have enough time to refreshen up and have dinner in the hotel restaurant before transfer to Lao Cai by catching the night train to go back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - Departure

Arrive in Hanoi around 6:00am at Hanoi train station. After having breakfast, free until time for transferred to the airport for your departure flight home. Have a good journey back home.
