Day 1: Hanoi Old Quarter - Lanha Bay - Halong Bay (L, D)
At 8:45AM to 9:15AM our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to depart for Halong bay & Lanha Bay. It takes about 2.15 hours (139km) to drive on The Highway 5B to Halong bay & Lanha Bay. You drive through lots of towns, villages and countryside and you get a great views and insight to the country and day to day life of Vietnamese people on both sides of the way.
12:30AM you will get on the cruise, welcome complimentary drink, check in your cabin. Then you will explore center area of the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay & Lanha Bay. We prepare a special delicious lunch with fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies which will be served you in the restaurant on the cruise while you can enjoy the amazing scenery of Bay. Get back to the cruise, the cruise will take you to the place you can swimming in the crystal clear water of the bay. 6:30AM to 7:30 you will take part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck of the cruise and relaxing with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and a light breakfast will be served at restaurant on the cruise with pastries, tea, coffee.
After breakfast, the cruise will take you to an impressive cave, named Dark & Bright cave which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage with many stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds, everything are created by naturally.
Come back the cruise, you will take part in cooking class with our chefs, you will be tried making an authentic Vietnamese spring rolls with some suggested recipes. “Amazing luxury cruise”
Booking an overnight luxury cruise with Rosanta Travel was the best decision I made for my first time visit to Vietnam!
They were very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process online. They were also easily contactable via telephone and texting when I was in Hanoi and had a few questions.
Transfers were via a limousine bus from Hanoi. The journey was comfortable and there was a rest stop at a ceramics and souvenirs workshop.
The cruise activities were perfectly suited to my priorities and interests - lots of free time to admire the stunning Halong Bay views, Onboard cooking class and kareoke, Kayaking around the breathtakingly beautiful limestone island formations, Visit to a Pearl farm to learn about pearl cultivation (and shopping!), and a visit to Surprise Cave. Each activity was attentively supervised and supported by the cruise staff. There was never a dull moment! I just wish I had more time!
As a solo traveller, I was fortunate enough to join a cruise group that consisted of 16 other young travellers, with only two couples. It's unusual to have only 17 guests on a cruise ship that can accommodate 40 guests and 26 staff members, so I was very grateful to have joined such a vibrant and fun loving group. We had a fantastic time dancing and singing well past happy hour.
The facilities were luxurious in every way. The photos are accurate! The room was clean and spacious. Beds were a little on the firm side (consistent with many hotels in Vietnam) but I prefer it that way. The bathroom boasted a private spa bath which was a lovely luxury, The dining room was open so that guests could admire the views during meals. The top deck was an amazing place to soak in the atmosphere whilst having some drinks and partying the night away. There was also an outdoor jacuzzi and rooftop sundeck with reclining lounge chairs that would have been lovely to use.
The food was delicious - and yes they accommodate dietary requirements! The set menu (international cuisine) was a welcome change to the usual standard buffet that many other cruises offer.
The staff were absolutely wonderful, and it was so fun to have them join us for our evening festivities (kareoke and dancing). Julia was a magnificent cruise host and tour guide. Thank you so much for being amazing! Thank you also to Muoi, Vodka and the other staff members for being so welcoming, fun and helpful!

“Everything we expected and more!”
Our cruise was over 2 days and 1 night and there were around 40 other passengers on this beautiful boat, which was friendly and spacious. We were served lovely food at all our meals, and the crew and staff were warm, professional and very helpful. They made a great deal of effort to talk with you and make you feel welcome. Our tour guide Hung was brilliant; he looked after everything for us and kept us entertained with his knowledge and funny repertoire. The activities provided for us included taking a smaller boat to visit caves and a pearl farm. I felt safe on these trips as life jackets were provided and the crew assisted you carefully in boarding and disembarking. We were particularly lucky with the weather as it was sunshine all the way, and we were able to soak up the beautiful sunset at the end of the day. Highly Recommend!

The manager of cruise is very nice. He serves as a magician, musician and tour guide to the cave during these two days. All staff are very helpful. The staff, Ryan, who can speaks english well and nicely assist us.
They also provide tons of activities to do on boat. Kayaking, pearl farm visit, cave visit, making of spring roll, squid fishing etc. You wouldn't get bored when staying on board!

We were so happy with the standard of service on the cruise! When we arrived at halong bay it was the most luxurious looking boat in the bay! Our tour guide Hung was so nice, friendly and informative - he went out of his way to make us feel special and made our cruise experience! All of the staff were so nice on the boat too! The rooms were all really clean and elegant! The food was delicious and plentiful! The transfer from our hotel to halong bay was a limousine bus and by the far the best of the tour buses! The whole trip was really organised from start to finish with nice little finishing touches! The staff were very enthusiastic and made you feel like celebrities! We really enjoyed the squid fishing with the staff! We will definitely recommend to everybody we meet!

“Amazingly luxurious”
We spent a night on the cruise and among our four accommodations in Vietnam, the cruise was the most luxurious one. Their transfer buses/cars are just as luxurious.
The food was amazing, specially organised for our vegetarian diets. The staff is the best part of the ship, which is saying something because the cruise is so luxurious in itself. Right from the manager to the staff at the restaurant, everyone went out of their way to welcome us. We faced slight confusion at the time of booking our room but the staff over compensated it by giving us a bigger room.
A suggestion- avoid taking the smaller rooms next to the reception. Opt for the rooms on the deck as they are much more spacious and have a much better view. There is a slight difference in price but the experience is worth it.

As for 2017 the ship is new so everything is very clean abd smels nice. you can expect all the usual kayaking and cave visiting. the food is very good and the cook is freindly. We have incredible time with luxury cruise in Halong bay, HaLong bay is absolutely spectacular and deserves its world heritage title. The overnight cruise we did was very good. Halong bay is the best destination in the world. The Cruise ship was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were so delicious. They pick-up us at Hanoi old-Quarter, the bus so luxury and brand-new. There is one stop half way through the drive for toilet and snack. On the cruise they offer many activities as: cooking class, Tai-chi in the morning on sundeck so fresh may body, kayaking, visit fishing village,… I would definitely travel on this cruise again if I return to Ha Long Bay. “Trip in Ha Long bay”
We visited Ha Long bay with two days/one night trip of this cruise. We liked this trip. The ship is new and they upgrated us with better room.
They took us from hotel in Hanoi with very comportable limusine and the trip to bay is very pleasure. The food was much and tasty.
Our guide was Julia and she did the best to make us feel great. We visited one nice cave, pearl farm and stop in one limestone island. There we swim and walk to the top of island to see the bay from the top.
We had very nice time. They care for there clients and if you wish to spend nice time go to Ha long bay with this cruise.

“More than meets the eye”
It was beyond what we have had hoped for. Remember all the review labels and advises you read online about how much of a snake pit halong bay cruises are? Put those to rest when you deal with this Cruise in the word go.
When I booked the tour through the Internet, I got a prompt email from Mr. Ha. His English is impeccable and he made sure I understood everything involved with the trip and he was also the mastermind behind a wonderful surprise for my wife's birthday.
Please do opt in for their shuttle service as their transport is very well maintained and their driver an artist on the chaotic roads of Vietnam. The ride was comfortable and smooth.
The next noteworthy point is their boat transfer to the cruise ship. It's definitely senior citizen friendly. The boatman was extremely skillful and getting on and off the transfer boat was easy and was never a challenge.
The rooms were beautiful. Hardwood floors, nice decor and the jacuzzi in our room was clean and works beautifully. There were no moldy smells and sheets, linen and curtains were clean. Please do note that the beds are on the hard side as it is the custom in Vietnam so do make prior arrangements if you prefer something else.
The food. Exquisite and extremely well presented. The chef really knows his way around fish and his vegetarian dishes are simply wonderful. The cutlaries are spotless and the crew made the dining experience a 5 star affair. Our bartender was fantastic and even came up with an extremely delectable cocktail with the local passion fruit. Prices are reasonable and do take full advantage of their happy hour.
The crew are amazing. Friendly, responsive and always ship shape and on their toes. Always a great smile on their faces and speaks English so communication is not difficult. We all became friends and had a bawling good time chatting with them, getting to know beautiful Vietnam and its people through them. Hung, who was our tour guide for the cruise was witty, cheerful and is always around to offer information and little tips to get around. Muoi, the boat manager who took great efforts to make sure my wife's birthday surprise went according to plan. And also the very beautiful Hua who became good friends with my wife for always being there to welcome us and make us feel right at home. There are so many more crew members that made the trip and truly heart warming experience, their energy and positivity gives life to the cruise.
The ship was extremely well maintained and the captain is definitely a masterskill seaman as our whole cruise is in harmony with the best sights of halong bay. He knows exactly how to position the ship at the right spots and slows down at strategic areas to let us soak in the views. We were lucky to have clear skies throughout but do bear in mind that the weather could be unpredictable.
Truly a cruise that leaves a sweet aftertaste. We meet as strangers, we parted as family. A truly well spent two days of our lives.
