Detail Itinerary for Cu Chi Tunnels Day Tour | Cu Chi Tunnels A Half Day from Ho Chi Minh City: Cu Chi Tunnels is a defense system in the ground in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City approx 70 km to the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This system of tunnels was dug the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam during the war in Vietnam. Tunnel system includes the medical stations, many rooms for stay, kitchens, storage, working rooms, tunnels system underground. The tunnels system is about 200km long tunnels and it was built with well-aired systems under the bushes. Cu Chi Tunnels were built on land known as the "land of steel", located at the end of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. During Tet 1968 Campaign, National Liberation Front of South Vietnam has used the tunnel system to attack in Saigon.

Upon arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels, starts your tour of the tunnels by watching a movie about the Vietnam War. Then, explore the Cu Chi Tunnels site, including the tiny entrance gates, traps, underground hospitals, worships, kitchens and bunkers. Crawl through a section of the tunnels to experience first hand what life was like under the ground for the Viet Cong, you can also try local special foods such as: steamed tapioca & hot tea which was main foods during the war here.… and you will also be given the chance to try shooting with an M-16, AK-47 or or machine guns at the nearby shooting range (your own fee).
